Job description
Murcielago LLC is looking for an eager and willing candidate to fulfill an Event Associate position. Murcielago LLC owns and operates Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard, The Farms of Turkey Run, and The Tasting Room & Taphouse at Mount Ida Reserve.
Please note this is NOT an event planning position.
Job Duties would include but are not limited to:
-Being present as needed to assist and monitor weddings and events that are held on the property
-Supervising the venue during ceremony rehearsals, weddings, and other events
-Manage vendor load in and setups on event day, make sure that all vendors are following Murcielago’s rules and
expectations
-Assisting the Event Director with day to day tasks & cleaning
-Assist with setting up event floor plans
-Providing tours of the Company’s wedding venues and homes as needed for current and prospective clients
looking to schedule events
-If interested in full time house: Deep cleaning of the venues & accommodations
Evenings & weekends required. Must be available to stay through the end of the wedding & breakdown.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience or strong interest in facility specific venue coordination
-Clear Communication Skills
-Strong organization and time management skills
-Ability to work independently and manage one’s own time on projects
-Flexible to wearing many different hats and being a team player
Bonus Qualifications:
-If you are bilingual (english & spanish speaking)
