Daytime Front of House Manager- Downtown

Job Summary:

Our Front of House Managers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant's front-of-house activities. These positions involve overseeing staff, managing customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that guests receive an exceptional dining experience. We also offer flexible scheduling, including full and part-time schemes and an option for primarily daytime hours, a rarity in this industry (ideal for someone with school-aged children).

Duties:

-Supervise daily operations of the front of house, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.

-Train, develop, and manage staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain operational efficiency.

-Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS transactions.

-Manage inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.

-Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food preparation, production, and presentation.

-Implement food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.

-Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

-Monitor shift management to ensure smooth transitions between team members during busy periods.

Skills:

-Proven leadership experience in restaurant management or a similar role.

-Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

-Experience in staff training and team management to foster a positive work environment.

-Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems.

-Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff.

-Experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is a plus.
