The Legal Operations and Compliance Analyst will assist in optimizing legal operations and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. This role involves analyzing and improving legal processes, monitoring compliance activities, and supporting data-driven decision-making within the legal department.Hours/Type: Full Time, Exempt

Travel:  5%

Office Location: Headquarters in Charlottesville, VAPrimary Responsibilities:Legal Operations Support:Analyze and improve legal department processes to enhance operational efficiency.Support the implementation and management of legal technology solutions, including case management and document automation systems.Compliance Monitoring:Monitor compliance with contract requirements and assist in conducting regular compliance audits.Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.Track and report on compliance activities and metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims, and related documentation.Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to legal operations and compliance.Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and compliance status to stakeholders.Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Process Improvement:Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to improve legal and compliance processes.Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and best practices.Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, legal operations metrics, and departmental processes.Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for audits and reviews.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with compliance and operational goals.Assist in training and educating staff on compliance policies and legal procedures.Other duties as assigned.
