Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:
Maintain cleanliness and order for the entire household, including full cleaning responsibilities (doors, windows, walls, floors, cabinets, countertops, storage spaces, trash disposal, dusting, etc.) for:
Bathrooms
Bedrooms
Kitchen
Living spaces
Perform detailed deep cleaning when required.
Cooking of most meals for the family, including cleaning and storage of dishes and cookware.
Clean all laundry, including changing bed linens on schedule.
Iron clothes when needed.
Run personal errands on behalf of the owners, including dry cleaning, prescriptions, all shopping, or any other errand needed for the well-being of the owners.
Coordinate mail (sending and receiving).
Ensure timely maintenance of all household appliances.
Maintain a safe environment and report and resolve maintenance issues quickly.
Provide personal assistance to the family in coordinating social calendar and other personal affairs.
Work under the supervision of the Senior Housekeeper.
Requirements:
Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
Experience working with older adults preferred.
May need to utilize personal transportation for errands. Vehicle and insurance required.
