University Montessori is a small, non-profit school serving children ages 3-6yrs. We are currently seeking a warm, engaged, teacher to join our program. Position to begin by July 2024 and runs the hours of 11:30 - 5:30, Monday through Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Follows the school's policies for interaction, instruction, and discipline of children
Supports the positive work environment by communicating openly and thoughtfully with administration and staff
Flexible about placement and tasks as directed by administration
Works well both independently and with other teachers
Comfortable being self-directed
High school degree
Arrives on time
Good written and oral communication skills
2+ years experience working with children
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree or higher
Experience working with children in a preschool or kindergarten setting
Montessori credentials, Familiarity and/or Experience with Montessori methodology OR a willingness to learn.
