The HVAC Tech provides HVAC support and general maintenance tasks associated with facilities investment services contracts at Army Reserve Centers in 150 Mile radius of Charleston, WV. Company vehicle is provided.Full Time with benefits: $25.67/hrFull Time without benefits: $30.76/hrKey Job FunctionsMaintain and repair all types of HVAC systems and associated components, facility operations through the monitoring and repair of various mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, equipment, and controlsPerform the skilled journey-level work required to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning equipment and systems & preventive and predictive maintenance on required systemsMaintain, perform preventive maintenance, and keep equipment in operating condition: chillers, cooling towers, Condensing Boilers, air compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge valves, motors, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, and related componentsComplete power connectionsOrganize work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints; gathering required materials;Test and repair systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components.Recommend necessary spare inventory parts for emergency repairs.Provide general preventative maintenance and troubleshoot call support for non-HVAC components which could include plumbing, electrical, and carpentry requirements as well as other building systems/assetsMust be comfortable working with electrical 3 phase 480-volt power to HVAC equipment
