As a Systems Administrator you will:

Assist in implementation, operation, and management of information systems and user endpoints

A week in the life of a Systems Administrator:

Work as part of a team to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with applications, workstations, printers, and local area networking.

Install, configure, maintain, and migrate computer and network operating system and application software in on-premises and cloud environments

Perform user account creation and activation, password resets, privilege assignment, group membership management, and directory access control.

Provision and maintain Microsoft Windows workstations and laptops according to existing standards, including creation and distribution of system images

Execute scans of incoming and outgoing media, perform data transfers and complete related documentation.

Create, edit and follow SOPs to ensure correct and consistent problem resolution

Support the installation, integration, and management of applications and systems using management consoles as well as cloud infrastructure tools

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution to local and remote system users

Job Requirements

Active TS/SCI Clearance

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as

Security+ CE (Continuing Education)

SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)

GSEC Certification

GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)

CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst)

CCNA Security (Cisco Certified Network Associate - Security)

Three (3+) years of experience in systems administration, with significant experience in customer support

Experience in Microsoft Windows Systems administration with Active Directory

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to translate complicated technical issues for a non-technical audience

Ability to work well independently and in a collaborative team environment
