This role is unique in that it involves heavy travel, as our projects span various locations and require on-site support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to different environments.What You'll Be Doing:
Provide on-site system administration and support for clients across multiple locations.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of IT systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Manage and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with remote and on-site teams to address IT challenges and implement improvements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and system security.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel extensively to client sites (up to 75% travel). Travel is three weeks out of the month within the United States.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or equivalent.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Experience with Building Automation and Control Systems is a plus
Experience with DoD Systems is a plus
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certifications minimum, Level 3 preferred.
