We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Renewable and Energy Efficiency Project Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to support a high-priority customer mission by providing project management and analytical support to projects that significantly accelerating the deployment of clean energy technologies, catalyze local economic development and create jobs, reduce energy costs, and avoid pollution.What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting Department of Energy customers to monitor ENERGY projects, track project milestones, and technical targets against project objectives and standard project management approaches

Conduct and participate in project peer reviews to assess and analyze project performance

Compile and submit project reviews and summaries detailing major project milestones, issues/actions status, and compliance reports

Support Project closeout, including tracking and reviewing closeout documents, final technical reports, financial reports, and other supporting documents

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Technical knowledge of current and available energy efficiency and renewable energy technology

Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of public sector project and program management

Research and analytical techniques and report writing, including use and analysis of statistical information

Experience conducting independent project reviews and assessments, validation of performance and accomplishments, assessments of cost and schedule, risk identification and mitigation, and life-cycle cost evaluation

Mid Level

A BS or BA in engineering, business administration, public administration or a related discipline with 5 years (6 preferred) of relevant experience OR a Masters degree in a related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience

Sr. Level

A BS or BA in engineering, business administration, public administration or a related discipline with ten years relevant experience OR a Masters degree in a related discipline with eight years experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience managing federal financial-assistance, grants, and cooperative assistance

Ability to conduct cost estimating and energy analysis for diverse energy technology proposals

Experience researching and conducting critical issues analysis for impediments to project deployment and commercialization

Knowledge and experience working with Department of Energy’s standard project management standards, including a current Project Management Professional certificate

Experience with concepts and implementation of Department of Energy Directive 413.3b (Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets), Earned Value Management, Work Breakdown Structures, Integrated Master Scheduling
