Want to take your asset management and leadership expertise to the next level to work on impactful projects that will make a significant difference in the industry?Parsons is now hiring a Senior Program Director for the Asset Lifecycle Management Team with a desire to work on innovative projects. Parsons' extensive experience in this field, combined with your asset management knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunities for advancement based on top performance. We need our Senior Program Director to be versatile and possess exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills. In this role, you will provide management and direction for the Asset Lifecycle Management Team.Responsibilities:

Act as the Company representative with clients and selected subcontractors during project execution.

Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.

Collaborate with Business Development to market and secure additional work with clients.

Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.

Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.

Oversee the establishment of Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans, and other required documents.

Establish the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitor the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.

Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.

Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of their qualifications and strengths.

Provide input to performance reviews and development plans for direct reports.

Mobilize company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.

Discuss the qualifications required of the key project positions in specific detail with the profit center and department managers.

Work with other managers, project leads, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.

Ensure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.

Work with key project individuals to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.

Advise the client and company management of any such changes. The Senior Program Director is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.

Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through the application of Quality Assurance processes.

Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions that would affect project cost or schedule.

Establish weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Asset Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

15+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.

Managerial experience of a group of professionals and technical support personnel.

Experience directing work involving complex technical situations.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.

Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software for use in completing assignments.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is desired.
