Software Developer - Secret Cleared - Contract-to-Hire - Suffolk, VA Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Software Developer to work with functional team to design, develop, and maintain Navy Circuit Information Management Tool Set (CIMTS). The goal of CIMTS is to improve visibility, operational and financial management of enterprise circuits

Requirements:

  • Years of Experience: 3+
  • Education: B.S./B.A. Degree or equivalent in a related field

Must Have Experience With:

  • Designing and delivering software systems using Agile methodologies,
  • Working as part of multi-vendor teams.
  • ASP.NET/C#, MVC 4, Bootstrap, JQuery, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Using SQL Developer, Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code
  • Publishing and deploying web applications to an IIS web server

Preferred Experience:

  • Navy, DISA, or the Combatant Commands experience a plus.
  • Commercial telecommunications experience a plus.
  • Web Services/WCF experience a plus.
  • Angular, React, or Vue framework experience a plus.
  • Business analysis experience a plus.
  • Experience using SQL Reporting services a plus.
  • Experience with cloud architecture and services a plus.

Daily Duties:

  • Gather and formally document requirements and design for CIMTS and NNIC applications.
  • Document standard operating procedures for every part of the development cycle
  • Present prototype solutions to the customer and incorporate feedback
  • Develop front-end web application code using ASP.NET
  • Develop back-end database code using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Provide technical assistance as needed for maintaining existing production web and database servers

Certifications:

  • Security + ce or obtain within 2 months on contract

Clearance:

  • Active DOD Secret
