SkillBridge connects service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences.Program Type: InternshipLocation : Dynamic Aviation, 1402 Airport Road, Bridgewater VA 22812Program Timeline: 3-6 monthsAssociated Job: Aviation Maintenance Technician / A&P MechanicSummary - Aircraft Maintenance InternshipThe Intern will use relevant technical data to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as platform modifications tailored to meet customer needs while maintaining a safe operating environment.The internship is a valuable workplace learning experience that assists participants to prepare for future employment by observing and performing unique aircraft maintenance and modifications. Participants who do not currently have their Airframe & Powerplant license and wish to earn certification may work towards completing sign-offs to test for the license during their internship.The training schedule is designed to allow for flexibility in the training plan based on the intern's skills, experience and interests as well as our technical operations during the time of the internship.Qualifications:
The U.S. DOD SkillBridge program is for Active Duty service members and select groups of the National Guard and the Reserves.Service members must be able to complete the program within their last 180 days of military service
