Flight Operations Support Services

Description/Responsibilities:

● Plan and prepare practical lessons (simulated and hands on) and guided discussions.

● Conduct instruction outlined in the training manual and facilitate learning through the learning Management System (eLearning courses)

● Schedule training events and coordinate supporting events with FlyingDuck team members.

● Support the maintenance of grading forms and training records.

● Communicate plans and expectations to trainees and team members.

● Provide subject matter expertise, creating content and participating in the review of current and new training programs.

● Provide instruction to groups and/or individuals, in person and remote (when applicable).

● Provide classroom and/or group training up to 10 GS and VO trainees at a time regarding FlyingDuck systems and operations applicable to the role

● Provide practical field training to GS and VO to perform nest equipment inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities during GS duty shifts

● Support and provide feedback regarding operational development and validation testing

Required:

● Possess a current driver's license

● Possess a valid 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Does not need to be current, but must not have been suspended or revoked)

● Must have a minimum of 1 year in a previous role as a supervisor, trainer, instructor, facilitator, and/or coach.

● Instructors must be qualified in the role of FlyingDuck Ground Support Operator and VO, under FAA Part 135 and 107.

● Successfully complete the Ground Instructor training syllabus and be designated a FlyingDuck Ground Instructor in writing by the MSFI (Manager of Standards and Flight Instruction).

● Able to work outdoors in field settings for extended periods

● Participate in periodic FlyingDuck provided training to maintain relevant skills and knowledge

● Be able to travel to various operations sites within the US for up to two weeks at a time for a maximum of 15% of total work time

● Participate in Vendor's FAA drug and alcohol screening program
