Job Title: Maintenance Technician 3Job DescriptionPerform minor and major repair of all material handling equipment, including AutoStore systems. Execute preventative maintenance and troubleshooting procedures on conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis. Coordinate external contractors/vendors involved in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building systems. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Comply with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements; maintain all required HAZMAT records. Respond in a professional and timely manner to management and other internal customer inquiries and resolve problems related to facility's operational issues. May operate a computer that controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required. Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal as needed. Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts; order parts as necessary. Make recommendations to improve maintenance programs. Operate powered lift equipment and provide support for equipment lockout/tagout. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards.Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

4-6 years of maintenance experience, including use of hand and power tools

Operating warehouse equipment; may be required to complete and maintain Lift Operator Certification along with OSHA guidelines

Excellent organization skills, self-motivated, takes initiative

Ability to work independently and with a team

Responsible for checking out equipment and returning it in the same condition

Courteous and responsive to staff needs

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure

Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent to interpret various drawings and schematics

Regular and prompt attendance

Willingness to work overtime as required, which may include weekends

Regularly lift or move up to 60 lbs, bending, twisting, and pulling. Operating powered equipment, and may be required to wear a headset and protective harness while operating equipment. The environment is moderately noisy and involves working near conveyor systems and moving parts. It is a hectic and fast-paced environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Asjland, Virginia.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.Direct PlacementRobust benefits package, will include.
