The Cybersecurity SME will be supporting the CCAC as an advisor, supporting the CCAC program office with an understanding of cybersecurity practices, policies and programs. In this role the candidate will need to be able to research, understand and present complex cybersecurity concepts. Provide feedback and recommendations for cybersecurity study topics to be addressed by the CCAC. Provide guidance and support to the CCAC management team as a cybersecurity SME, providing a technical viewpoint and understanding.
Qualifications Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D. Required Skills:- Bachelor’s degree required and 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity practices, implementation, policies, and/or programs.
- Knowledge and Experience researching and advising on cybersecurity topics
- Knowledge of Government cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technologies
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be a US Citizen, able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
- DHS Suitability
- Master’s degree or greater in Cybersecurity
- Experience supporting a council or committee
- Experience and understanding of DHS cybersecurity programs, initiatives and policies
