DescriptionAmazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.Amazon supports vendors, sellers, and third-party partners around the globe. As a (Senior) Program Manager with Amazon, you will have the opportunity to develop the business requirements and influence the success of these partners. In this role, you will own operational programs related to our vendors, and third-party partners and work to resolve operational issues. As a program manager you will work cross-functionally to drive customer centric programs. Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.A day in the lifeAmazon is looking for a Sr Program Manager to develop and launch new fleet programs that will change the way we think about fleet maintenance. This leader will work cross functionally to build new processes and payment mechanisms for fleet maintenance that will materially improve the Delivery Service Provider experience, build maintenance and repair relationships that will help strengthen fleet condition. The Sr Program Manager will work with partner technology teams to develop, build, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for a Central Operations team to administer our fleet programs for positive end-to-end Delivery Service Provider experience. This leader will drive performance and potential through data analysis, to include sourcing data, defining key metrics, converting data into easily-digestible metrics reports, and publication of key opportunities for improvement, along with suggested actions to improve. The SR PM will ensure that data/metrics and the manner in which they are presented tells the correct stories and will help turn those stories into improvements to the products.The Sr Program Manager will lead tech integration to simplify the portals and tools used by our Delivery Service Partners to service their fleet. Through their efforts in the above-noted responsibilities, this person will enable Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to focus on what they do best – delivering to our customers.This role is indexes heavily on the Leadership Principles of Think Big, Deep Dive, Ownership, Deliver Results, and Are Right, A Lot. This role requires a mix of strategic and tactical skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, set a strategic vision grounded in soild data analysis, and lead partner teams in the development of improved tools and processes.Key job responsibilities Define and develop end-to-end Delivery Service Provider experience, from intake of issue through resolution, and escalation mechanisms. Define program success metrics and evaluate program impact including timeliness and ease of repair scheduling, service turn around times, and efficiency of payment mechanisms; Lead the broader, cross-functional team to improve performance based on deep-dive analysis (root cause identification; suggested action development) Identify critical program characteristics and develop supporting analyticsAbout the teamAmazon Logistics’ mission is to provide the best last mile customer experience delivering each package to the customer’s doorstep through a choice of innovative delivery options. To provide this customer experience, Amazon Logistics works closely with Last Mile Delivery Service Partners who operate and manage a fleet of vehicles and drivers. 5+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
