We are seeking a Financial Coordinator to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR). This position involves providing business and financial support for the Mathematics, Computers, and Information Sciences Research Division, as well as the Electronics, Sensors, and Network Research Division. The Financial Coordinator will perform a variety of financial, administrative, and programmatic duties, ensuring the successful execution of ONR-sponsored projects and compliance with government policies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide business and financial support to Program Officers, ensuring compliance with ONR processes and procedures.Assist with planning, forecasting, program budgeting, funding execution, performance monitoring, and reporting.Utilize financial systems such as Navy ERP, COBRA, PBIS, and other tools to monitor funding, commitments, obligations, and expenditures.Prepare funding documents and assist in resolving discrepancies in funding execution.Perform financial analyses to ensure compliance with anti-deficiency laws and other financial regulations.Support solicitation and proposal evaluation processes, including administrative coordination and public notifications.Conduct Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DARQ) reviews and prepare documentation.Maintain calendars, book conference rooms, and coordinate events.Provide support for meetings, workshops, and conferences, including preparation of lessons learned and distributing information.Assist in building the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budget and drafting R-2 Exhibits.Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to recommend program improvements.Support leadership with administrative tasks, including travel authorizations, correspondence, and scheduling.Manage and maintain ONR’s SharePoint site and public website content.Support requests for the release of information, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
