Project Operations Support SpecialistJob Category: Project and Program ManagementTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalThe Opportunity:As a Project Operations Support Specialist you will support the efforts of operations and business development team members on capturing and bidding new business requirements and on completing task requirements of active programs.This is a temporary requirement for approximately three to six months, during a transitional period with multiple concurrent business development, proposal, and program support tasks. You will work remotely from your home location and travel if requested to an office in Crystal City, VAResponsibilities:As a Project Operations Support Specialist, you will perform program and project administration tasks in a Federal Government contractor space. Responsibilities include:
Supporting business development efforts, and managing processes, to identify, screen, and interview candidates for key personnel requirements in capture and proposal efforts
Drafting, editing, and reviewing written proposal artifacts, including candidate resumes, and other proposal materials, to help create winning proposals for new business opportunities
Supporting and performing program and project administration tasks for contractual compliance, including monthly or quarterly program management reporting
Supporting program and project deliverables, travel requests and reimbursements, and other tasks as needed
Qualifications:Required:
Five (5) years of experience to include program management support, personnel, scheduling, task management, and project administration support tasks
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding English writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods
Ability to multi-task across multiple projects managing complex tasks under budget and time constraints
Strong communication, organizational, and task/time management skills
Strong attention to detail
