Job Summary Alluvionic is seeking a Program Analyst II - Financial Analyst UFMSto support the Office of Financial Management in the Judicial Security Division of the U.S. Marshals Service. The Program Analyst II will support management and other staff members in all financial activities and operations as assigned. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position.Must be able to pass a background Investigation (BI)for a clearance of Public Trust.This is an on-site position.Salary Range: 70-78k yearlyReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform theessential functions.The Program Analyst II - Financial Analyst UFMS performs, but is not limited to, the following duties:Responsibilities:

Process financial documents and transactions using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).

Review accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars.

Identify corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds.

Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance

Three years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures

Three years of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle

Three years of experience in preparing and presenting a status of funds for higher-level management

Three years of experience in analyzing information and making recommendations

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
