Clinical Technician IIIJob DescriptionPurpose & Scope:The Clinical Technician III works under the direct supervision of the RN and is an active member of the health care team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, the Clinical Technician performs a variety of routine duties involving the care of patients including performing direct patient care or activities of daily living, observing changes in the status of patients, providing a clean and safe environment, transporting patients, and other related duties. Clinical Technicians must be empathetic and have good communication and nursing skills to care for patients.Education:High school diploma or equivalent is requiredExperience:1 year experience as a Clinical Technician II as defined in the core skills for Clinical Technician III, or1 year experience as a Clinical Technician II who has successfully completed the VHC Health Clinical Technician III education, orCompleted a training program meeting core skills & competencies, orSuccessful completion of the VHC Health Nurse Externship ProgramCertification/Licensure:BLS Certification required.VHC Health™ has provided exceptional medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area for more than 75 years.
