The OpportunityThis position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Safely operate both complex and standard high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products
Maintain inventory of packaging materials
Complete workorder documentation
Perform quality checks
Clean equipment and the production environment
Troubleshoot equipment issues
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.Pay and ShiftThe hourly pay for this position is $20.66 and this is for the night shift. High school diploma or GED
6 months prior manufacturing experience
Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
Experience with tools and equipment related to the position or experience as a Sr. Production Equipment Operator is desired
