We are in need of a motivated Network Security Engineer to support our Mission Technologies Division, which has over 100 facilities worldwide and provides capabilities to support an all-domain force that includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous systems, critical nuclear operations, LVC systems, cyberspace strategies, and platform modernization.

Our ideal candidate will

Essential Job Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and executes network security maintenance regimens. Configures corporate physical and virtual cloud firewalls. Works closely with the customer's Security Officer with the development of the customer's security program. Implements the technical aspects of the customer's security program. Facilitates security audits. Translates requirements into appropriate, compliant, and secure configurations. Fully supports all aspects of the network, including firewalls, switches, and wireless networks. Monitors and improves network performance. Performs root analysis of any and all information security and network incidents.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working on DOD/Government networks
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
