Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Alexandria, Virginia. This role will primarily focus on providing basic tech support and triaging inbound calls in a fast-paced environment. The chosen candidate will be expected to listen to client issues, use application programming interfaces to determine the best course of action, and efficiently direct calls to the appropriate department.Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries and provide basic technical support via phone and email Triage inbound calls and identify the nature of the client's issues Utilize application programming interfaces to determine the best course of action for each call Direct calls to the appropriate department based on the nature of the client's issues Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times Accurately document and record customer interactions in the company's system Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks and calls simultaneously Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and procedures Continuously expand knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate information to customers Adhere to company guidelines and standards related to customer service and data entry. Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls effectively Prior experience in a call center customer service role Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues promptly and professionally Proficiency in data entry, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency Ability to manage email correspondence professionally, responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner Experience in order entry, ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey information to customers.
