Description AP Team Lead Washington, D.C. area$80k, plus bonus, 401(k), hybrid work options, free parkingMy client is a government contractor with a newly created role for an Accounts Payable Team Lead. The Accounts Payable Team Lead will join a very experienced team and be responsible for processing high-volume vendor payable invoices, including expense reports, posting GL entries, and coding of invoices. Candidates with Deltek Costpoint software experience and experience working in fast-paced high-volume environments are highly encouraged to apply. The AP Team Lead will be the department's go-to person and lead junior staff. The AP Team Lead will be responsible for the following duties:-Process high-volume vendor payable invoices and employee expense reports

Manage the System for all payables including process improvement and policy review

Code, match, batch, and process checks and ACHs

Posting GL journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and accruals

Setup new vendors within ERP System
