This is a hybrid position; may work from home up to 2 days per week. Occasional travel to Bangalore, India is required to support software project tasks. Develops, coordinates and conducts complex tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Liaises closely with other project team members in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercials software to ensure smooth operations on software engineering activities.

Recommends changes in the selection and application of software production components to improve and develop software engineering activities.

Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and function.

Required Qualifications:

Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience in an Embedded software engineering related role in the Aerospace Industry for avionics or electronics.

At least 8 years of experience in design and verification of Airborne systems using a structured process such as DO-178 or MIL STD-498

At least 8 years of experience using software emulator tools and integrated development environments such as iSystems IC5000 with WinIDEA IDE, or Code Composer Studio or similar

At least 8 years of experience with designing, debugging, and verifying/testing of embedded systems on the processor target such as MPC5xxx processor or similar

At least 8 years of experience with the following communication protocols: MIL1553, ARINC-429, ARINC-604, CAN, SPI and AFDX

At least 8 years of experience in Programming Languages (including C, C, ADA95, Python, and Ruby) and utilizing the following tools: DOORS, SVN, Polarion and PCAN or similar

At least 8 years of experience with Data and Control Coupling and instrumented Structural Coverage analysis using LDRA tool suite or similar.

The salary range for this position is $132,600.00 to $197,400.00 per year. This is the correct compensation range. Please disregard any additional verbiage noted below pertaining to the salary range.The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
