The People Experience Partner will lead organization wide engagement activities which foster inclusion and strengthen our ties to each other as well as to the Ben & Jerry’s three-part mission. The role will provide full cycle HR expertise, primarily for VT Scoop Shop locations (Burlington & Waterbury Hospitality). Serving as the first point of contact for line managers and employees, this role will be responsible for guiding areas of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and employee engagement, aligned with the overall People Mission agenda. It will be critical this role is able to maintain positive labor relations relationships and ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement at the Burlington shop. This role will also have oversite from workplace services, including facilities and Safety/Security, this role will oversee office services in the South Burlington Office, serving as a liaison to facilities, security & maintenance vendors and helping maintain a work environment that keeps employees feeling inspired, productive and energized. This role will also provide guidance to the 3rd party Facilities Coordinator, ensuring proper office operational and maintenance support is provided, including the management of the company store. In 2024-2025, this role will play a strategic role in the office assessment and lease process, including strategy execution for path forward and managing vendors and communications. What You’ll Do: HR Responsibilities:

Support recruiting efforts in partnership with Scoop Shop Management, the Talent Acquisition team ensuring stores are properly staffed

Manage onboarding process for all hourly Scoop Shop staff in partnership with Store Management

Provide coaching and support to Store Managers related to employee engagement, performance management, labor relations and policy administration

Serve as first point of contact for employees, escalating any requests to Payroll & Benefits and other HR teams as needed

Provide support to the Store Management and employees on Kronos, Workday and other systems administration

Administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) fairly amongst all collective bargaining members

Evaluate current HR and employee facing processes at the shops and lead change implementation, seeking continous improvements in HR policies

Work with People Mission to implement and align global and local initiatives driving employee engagement, creativity, encourage full participation to drive increased performance.

Lead the employee engagement agenda for global B&J corporate teams, focusing on creating togetherness & belonging, including developing new programs and initiatives.

Workplace Services

Oversee on-site “Facilities Coordinator” in maintaining and managing the employee store operating plans and providing day-to-day office support, including managing deliveries, guests, conference room upkeeping, daily cleaning services, among other routinary tasks.

Lead troubleshooting across facility vendors and service providers to resolve delivery issues, providing seamless people solutions and services. Scheduling of all onsite work, communication to site and ensure adherence of all safety and site policies by contractors /vendors while onsite.

Oversite in maintaining building environments by monitoring heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, Electrical and Mechanical needs and adjust or schedule for services as required.

Act as Site Safety & Security Coordinator, leveraging Unilever resources to best meet the safety and security needs of the community, including incident management , ensuring adequate system operations and reporting on areas of exposure with solution.

Support office renovation and/or relocation process in partnership with project managers and assigned vendors, ensuring time and cost effective transition, while maintaining the employee experience as a top priority

Provide recommendations to leadership on hybrid policies and the future of work, continously seeking innovative approaches to the employee experience, both remotely and on-site.

Oversee People Mission Facilities budget development, implementation with identified efficiencies, including processing facilities related payments and monitor on-going spending .

Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred

3+ years experience in general Human Resources disciplines preferred

Facilities and operational management and safety a plus

Able to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels. Develops effective give and take relationships with others; recognizes and effectively balances the interests and needs of one’s own group with those of the broader B&J organization.

Ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups to influence decision-making.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Hybrid Office environment, some repetitive motion required.

Minimal travel required outside of local support to VT Scoop Shops.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
