Job DescriptionNAAC Operations team provides direct support to the consulting line of businesses, designed to proactively lower revenue risk, maintain effective business processes, and provide support to enable Consulting to deliver high-value solutions to our customers.The Business Planning Director will manage a team of Operations leads and Business Analysts supporting Oracle’s NA Commercial Applications implementation projects and Leaders. They will work closely with various regional and global business partners including Finance, Sales Operations, PMO, Collections, Risk Management, and Rev Rec as well as Corporate Business Process Owners within Consulting. This role will act as a trusted advisor and partner to the business on the full order to cash process. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where they work independently as well as collaborating with teams.Career Level - M4Responsibilities

Key Operational support for several Consulting Industry VPs, providing support and guidance during each stage of the project focusing items that impact revenue recognition, invoicing and collections, as well as risks related to project delivery across the Commercial portfolio.

Provide executive operational support for quarterly and monthly business reviews including margin analysis, portfolio health, investments, and trending, leveraging Oracle Analytics Cloud or PowerPoint as appropriate.

Have a solid understanding of Oracle Consulting Policies, specifically revenue recognition policies for both T&M and Fixed Price project types, Global Expense policy and Internal rules of engagement.

Lead project centric revenue forecasting throughout the quarter - proactively highlighting potential revenue risks and opportunities.

Prepare ad hoc reporting or analysis related to unbilled revenue, margin, backlog or working at risk.

Participate in monthly Portfolio health conversations and provide operational insights to risks in the forecast.

Conduct training for new hires and Project Managers around Operations processes and tools (Oracle Time and Labor, Expenses and PSRS) as well as be able to educate around financial best practices.

Collaborate with other Operations teams globally, providing process or tool enhancements and improvements where appropriate or requested from the business.

Lead NA Regional initiatives to improve operational efficiency, drive consistency, and compliance.

Ensure all Operations team members are educated on changes or transformation in global business practices, aware of current year NAAC strategy and team initiatives.

Personal Skills and Qualifications:

BA/BS preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or Operations

10 years of professional work experience working in Operations as a Manager or Leader

Proficient at analyzing and manipulating data in Excel or Oracle Analytics Cloud

Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.

Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders in order to accomplish team goals.

Experience with Oracle Project Financial Management Applications and reporting tools preferred.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
