We are on a hunt for an exceptional leader that will own the transformation of how we work in Provider Process and Network Operations (PPNO). As an Associate Vice President of Transformation, this leader won't just be leading a team, but also building the strategy and refining the way we work across the organization. This leader will be introducing a prioritization process, caring for vendor management, change management and training across the organization and will be responsible for project management. We are looking for a leader who can help us build the future state of how we support providers and make is easier for Associates to do their job. This is an opportunity to truly help us transform the way we solve problems and to help us build the future of the provider experience across the PPNO lifecycle.The ideal candidate has led product teams, project management, strategy and possibly technology teams.Responsibilities:

Facilitate development of an integrated strategy and vision for the provider experience across PPNO

Bring extremely strong product management and technical skills to bear as we invest in technology solutions that positively impact our consumer experience.

Lead and guide teams through all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and to achieve specific cost and success outcomes.

Owns the vendor management strategy and helps coordinate and hold all vendors accountable to performance

Build a prioritization process that the entire PPNO function uses to determine what work is highest and best use for the team quarter to quarter.

Adjusts and advances product portfolio over time to continue achieving product goals and outcomes as well as to drive innovation through anticipating customer needs and desired outcomes.

Provides strategic direction and leadership to multiple teams across the program to ensure solutions meet the needs of multiple businesses and associated customers and aligns with company's goal

Act as a strong advocate of our new ways of working helping the organization adapt from a change management perspective

Owns process management across PPNO ensuring that processes are documented and that we are always looking at how to solve problems in a different way

Owns training strategy and implementation across PPNO teams. Transforms how we train our team members today to keep them aware of the latest and greatest developments.

Play a critical role in influencing senior leadership on the future-state.

Work closely with key business partners to build capabilities and prioritize investments.

Foster strong partnership with different business segments across organization.

Bring industry leading product management practices, tools, and processes to the organization to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Plan and manage implementation of improvement initiatives, working with relevant peer teams and business stakeholders. Coordinate and lead through influence.

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2 plus years of experience as a product leader at an executive level

7 plus years of management experience

7 plus years of experience managing large scale, strategic projects and cross functional teams

In depth knowledge of product management best practices, consumer experience tools, methodologies and framework

In depth knowledge of process design

Curiosity of continually looking for improvements and innovative, new solutions

Ability to influence and drive change across large, matrix organization

Connect across the segment and enterprise to leverage and maximize Humana's strengths and capabilities to improve the experience

Viewed as partner and advocate with other process and operational leaders

Make decisions and set agenda for delivering on outcomes, and articulate barriers and challenges and create strategic scenarios for analysis and discussion.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance short term needs with long-term goals.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Clear and concise oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

This can be a remote position. However, must reside in Mountain, Central or Eastern Time Zone, not Pacific. Louisville, Ky is preferred location.

This AVP will report to the VP, Provider Process and Network Operations Transformation and will have 6 direct reports and 35 total.

Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$181,200 - $249,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
