Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Administrative Assistant 3 types, formats, and proos a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software. Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available. Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff.Decisions are typically focused on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.Reports directly to the VP, National Provider Network Management (NPNM) and provides varying levels of support to several senior leaders on the NPNM team.Examples of Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

Coordinating multiple senior-level leader calendars across various time zones (Eastern and Central)

Scheduling and managing travel for senior leaders

Prooing and sending organization-wide communications

Planning for organization forums (i.e. Town Halls)

Maintaining organization documents

Proactively assessing and addressing leader needs

Ad hoc needs from direct reports

2+ years previous administrative or related experiences

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities

Strong attention to detail

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Capacity to maintain confidentiality

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work both independently and within team settings

Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing multiple senior-level calendars

Associates or Bachelor's Degree

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access

Experience with internet research and proof-reading/editing

Familiarity with Healthcare/Health Insurance terminology

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)

Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
