B.L. Builders is a small homebuilding and remodeling company based in central Vermont. We are looking for project managers, lead carpenters, and carpenters as we take on more builds in the coming years. We work predominantly in the Montpelier area, but occasionally travel to Stowe or the Mad River Valley.
We are a company who understands the complexity of life’s schedule, and take pride in being able to work flexibly around parenting responsibilities, transportation needs, appointments, and any other factors that come with a life well lived. With the right communication, we can make most schedules work, provided our core tenets of professionalism, fine workmanship, and good communication are met.
This is a W2 position, but we would consider working on a subcontractor basis with the right person.
Compensation is as follows:
Carpenter: $25-$35
Lead carpenter: $35-$38
Project manager: $38-$45/hr
Pay based on both experience, and the tools you bring to the job.
10 days PTO a year
$250/year boot allowance
$250/year tool allowance
All our job trailers have small heated break room with fridge/microwave for the winter days!
B.L. buys lunch for crew members on Thursdays
