ROOTS BUILDERS LEAD CARPENTER / CARPENTER
Roots Builders is a Vermont custom home builder specializing in high performance new residential construction and renovations. We have many exciting projects scheduled and are currently hiring for Lead Carpenters/Carpenters. The ideal candidate is an extremely reliable, hardworking team player with a desire to learn and be challenged. This role requires the ability to collaborate with others with a high level of partnership and accountability, as well as a strong understanding of the construction process, and the ability to step in and lead the crew if needed. A successful member of the Roots Builders team is kind, flexible, and dedicated to providing excellent service to our community.
This position serves as a reliable, accessible, and knowledgeable member of custom homebuilding and renovation team. This is a full-time position expected to work 40 hours per week. Previous work in the Construction Industry, including Lead Carpentry, Layout and Framing, and Custom Finish Detailing required, with Building Science and/or High-Performance Home Building Knowledge desirable.
