East Shore Excavation is looking for a Jack of All Trades to add to their small but growing team. If you like working outdoors, this could be the job for you! The ideal candidate would be a self starter with 2+ years experience in operating heavy equipment and general construction methods. Our projects range in type, size and scope so somebody who is willing to learn new skills on the job is a must. Most projects are general excavation and site work, but some trail building work can be expected.
This role will report directly to the owner and will eventually have some oversight of another team member. Management experience not required but is valued heavily. Hours will start out as part time (Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm) until our busy season kicks in with opportunities to add more hours. Projects will be within Chittenden County - with some occasionally in St Albans. CDL not required but is a plus. Valid VT Drivers License required. Pay is commensurate with experience but will fall in the range of $25-$40/hour.
