We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Writer to join Tiger's Auto in Waitsfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am to Noon.
Key Responsibilities:
Order and manage auto parts inventory
Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow
Follow up with customers regarding repairs, estimates, and service updates
Create and process invoices accurately
Test drive vehicles to ensure quality of repairs
Maintain organized records and assist with shop operations as needed
Requirements:
Strong organization, communication and customer service skills
Basic automotive knowledge preferred
Ability to multitask
Proficiency in computer systems and invoicing software
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
