This role involves assisting a young man with developmental disabilities in acquiring skills for independent living and enhancing his ability to cope with Anxiety. He has a variety of interests; he takes pleasure in discussing historical topics, listening to jazz and classical music, and savoring Mexican cuisine. He loves spending time in the kitchen and thrives in a calm and predictable environment, making someone with a relaxed and easy-going demeanor an excellent fit. The ideal candidate would be patient and affirming.
Ideal candidate is grounded and unflappable, trauma-informed preferred, but training can be provided.
This is a contracted position with an annual stipend starting at $66,000/yr.
