The Vermont Center for Independent Living is currently hiring a Home Access Specialist.

The Home Access Program (HAP) provides entrance and bathroom modifications for individuals throughout Vermont with disabilities. The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative, communication and record-keeping skills, be detailed oriented, organized and motivated. The position requires multi-tasking, attention to detail, great telephone skills and a compassionate nature. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel and have experience using a database software. Knowledge of ADA guidelines is helpful but not required.
Based in the Montpelier office, this position is 37.50 hours per week and pays $17.00 per hour. VCIL has a generous benefit package including yearly time off benefits: 15.5 holidays, 10 vacation days(accrues and increases with years of service), 10 sick days and 3 personal days. Insurance benefits include health, dental, vision, live, STD/LTD and an HRA account funded $1,000 annually and occasionally 403b contributions when voted by the VCIL Board of Directors.
