We are seeking punctual and dedicated Crew Members to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in all things sugaring while making sure operations run smoothly throughout the season. This position requires a strong commitment to enjoying the outdoors while delivering quality work tapping, fixing and checking for leaks, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If vou have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy working with a like minded individuals with a passion for maple, we encourage you to apply. Pay based on experience. Willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Tapping trees along side crew
Checking for vacuum leaks throughout the season
Making fixes and repairs
Maintaining general up keep of sugarwoods properties
Requirements
Willingness to learn new tasks
Ability to carry or lift up to 50lbs
Ability to hike steep uneven terrain
ability to work in woods under variable types of weather conditions
Willingness to have a flexible schedule during
January through April
Desired skills and experience
Basic tree identification
Maple sugaring experience
ATV/UTV experience
Previously working in woods
Problem solving
