Pomykala Farm is hiring for the 2024 growing season!
Our farm is 70 acres on Lake Champlain, and has been growing produce for local wholesale and retail markets since 1977.
Working on the farm crew, you will be involved in many tasks - seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvest, washing and packing. Sometimes even flower bouquet arranging. Work as a crew in the greenhouses, fields and packinghouse. This position includes physical labor, and working outdoors in all conditions. Full time, part time, and early evening shifts available. Our work day starts at 7am. Hourly wage $17.80/hr.
Working knowledge of tractors, equipment, farm implements and basic shop tools is a plus. A curiosity for problem solving is a plus. There is opportunity to learn welding, fabrication, construction, and engine repair.
We typically hire April - November, and there are opportunities for year round work for those with mechanical and handyman type experience.
