PATH is a small, open, close-knit therapeutic community that offers intensive residential mental health treatment for young adults aged 18-30 years, in a comfortable home environment located in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. Residents work daily with our specialized team to become more engaged in our community and confident in themselves. The goal is for residents to develop a sense of mastery, reflectiveness, and effectiveness in embracing life. Since 2016, PATH has worked to help young adults learn the skills necessary to succeed in the challenges of life. Opportunities available for individuals who seek to make a difference in fostering our residents’ growth and progress.

We are seeking an Night-watch staff member for the 10 pm – 8 am overnight shift, two - four nights per week. This position allows the employee to sleep in a pre-arranged space for the majority of the shift, but does require their availability for any situations that may occur in the residence overnight. The employee will be trained to respond to any in-house emergencies and follow protocols to immediately contact support staff as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Be present onsite during the overnight shift and available to residents in the case of an emergency

Act as first responder to any in-house emergencies, including but not limited to health and safety-related situations

Follow protocols to immediately contact additional support staff as needed

Other duties as assigned

Training provided in basic first aid, CPR and AED.

Requirements:

Strong professional approach to the nature of the work

Good communication and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on respect and collaborative engagement within the community.

- 1 year caregiving or facility experience a plus

- Satisfactory Background Checks

Job Type: Full or Part-time

Pay: $13.67 per hour

Expected hours: flexible, 20 - 40 per week, full or part time
