The Village of Swanton has openings for full time Maintenance Technician/Hydro Power Plant Operators. The Maintenance Department performs maintenance and repair of equipment associated with Hydro Plant, Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Municipal Complex. You will be trained in the operations of the Orman Croft Hydro Facility, which includes operation of power plant equipment, after hours dispatching of crews and monitoring equipment. Knowledge of electrical theory, mechanically inclined and computer skills would be an advantage.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Must be able to lift 30 pounds, multi-task, work flexible hours, work independently and be dependable.
