The Bagel in Stowe is looking for counter staff. We are a small family owned shop serving freshly prepared bagels and sandwiches.
Job duties include making sandwiches, taking orders, making coffee and hot drinks, basic food prep and cleaning. Attention to detail and friendliness are most important!
Our hours are currently 6:30am-2pm Tuesday through Saturday, and Sundays 7:30am-noon. We understand scheduling challenges and are willing to be flexible. We are ideally looking for year-round employees with at least some weekend availability. We are also looking for people interested in additional management responsibilities, willing to train.
Have late afternoons and evenings free. PTO (after 6 months over 18/hrs). Pay should be at least $23/hour including tips. Our system for tipping has recently changed and we are giving our team a cut of sales so staff compensation will be secure regardless of customers' feelings about tipping.
