Robert Half is helping a client find a Senior Project Manager to put at the center of their strategic business plan. This long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity is based in the Burlington, Vermont area. As a key member of the team, the chosen candidate will need to ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. In charge of deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product Owner- Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel

Functions as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies

Coordinates and directs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments

Cooperates with Product Owner/Product Manager to assure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are evident and realistic

Verifies project with exact ticket workflows and boards

Aid the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

Creates schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

Verifies the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

Drives project planning

Colludes and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers

Works in partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

Grants detailed reporting to management on project status, milestone completion, and risk assessments

Confirm that the functional requirements are met, tracked, and achievable

Administers the daily stand-ups, securing they are brief, timely, and focused

Help out with classifying, identifying, and managing risk for functional improvement requests

Aids to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

In collaboration with the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

Work closely together with the Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, Business Analyst, and QA Manager

Monitors and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner Requirements - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and work experience

Skilled in leading Agile delivery teams, projects and programs

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization

Comfortable managing complex cross-functional and technology projects

5+ years of project management experience

Technical experience including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.) and JIRA or similar application

Knowledge of utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
