Adecco Staffing is currently partnered with a food & beverage manufacturer in Burlington, MA in their search for a long term temp EH&S Manager. This is a long term temporary position.Pay Rate Range: $40 - $43.55 per hourSchedule(s)/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPosition Title: EH&S ManagerSummary:Responsible for safety and health plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal rules and regulations. Responsible for environmental plans, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal environmental rules and regulations. Ensure conformance to corporate policies related to EH&S for continuous improvement beyond compliance. Maintain systems for reporting, monitoring, and reducing EH&S risks. Ensures all significant EH&S related incidents and near-misses are investigated and corrective measures implemented. Support new and existing laboratory/testing operations by evaluating risks and mitigations in collaboration with team members and leaders. Lead the site's EH&S governance process and periodic meetings. Foster a culture promoting EH&S ownership outside of the EH&S department. Drive program ownership, education and accountability within teams to deliver sustainable excellence. Develop and oversee internal site EH&S auditing processes and tracking/closure of resulting opportunities for improvement. Educate leadership on safety, health and environmental best practices including: prevention, risk assessment and safe experimental design. Serve as the technical EH&S subject matter expert for Burlington campus teams and drive improvements to KDP's enterprise EH&S programs in areas of high competency. Collaborate with KDP's corporate EH&S team and global team members to drive organizational excellence. Responsible for safety incident management processes including Worker's Compensation program and regulatory agency reporting ensuring compliance. Partners with the Human Resources team. Create training programs which will increase proficiency in safe practices, promote safety consciousness, ensure environmental compliance, and advance continuous environmental improvement. Drive implementation of strategic EH&S initiatives to achieve corporate EH&S objectives; identify elements of change required to support the EH&S strategy; influence leadership teams to balance short-term demands with long term benefits of strategic EH&S programs; and inspire commitment and involvement with EH&S objectives and programs. Establish EH&S goals and objectives for the site and relevant business teams ensuring the targets are consistent with corporate strategies and objectives. Track progress against goals and develop action plans for successful achievement of goals. Serve as the primary liaison between applicable regulatory and government agencies.
