OverviewThe Manager FP&A – CapEx’s primary responsibility is full ownership of CapEx planning, forecasting, and authorization/approval processes for the entire organization. The Manager will perform these tasks using complex Excel models and Oracle Projects. The position will work closely with all levels of the organization and is critical to the future growth of the company.

A Day in the Life

Partner with the Director to transform the CapEx program by creating new and improving existing processes; identify continuous improvement opportunities within processes, controls etc. and train the organization on policies and overall procedures.

Own the 5-year, annual budget submission process; establish timelines, setup steering committee meetings and gather related materials, gather & consolidate submission and create deck for CEO & Board presentations.

Independently analyze organization’s forecast submission and make recommendations on how to improve accuracy for a more predictable cash position. Challenge monthly forecasts and partner with business units to identify risks and opportunities within submission. Partner with the Analyst to pull materials together for C-level presentation.

Independently manage the Capital Committee process in partnership with the Analyst; perform thorough due diligence on Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), analyze ROI summaries and guide analyst on requirements for the Capital Committee meetings.

Complete various ad hoc projects by independently structuring problems, gathering, organizing and analyzing data and creating insightful analyses for FP&A leadership.

You'll Come With

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any other quantitative field.

5-7 years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience.

Skilled at financial analysis, recognizing trends and communicating results.

Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with extreme proficiency in Excel.

Have the ability to create and maintain complex financial models.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Retail experience preferred.

Managerial experience a plus.

Scope and Impact:

Position will report to the Director of Strategic Planning & CapEx. This position is integral in the evaluation of short and long-term CapEx needs. This position requires direct interaction with various levels of the organization and is a critical position that provides meaningful contribution to the profitable growth of the company.
