Position Details Advertising/Posting Title Grounds Maintenance Worker Diversity Statement The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the institution. Posting Summary Maintain campus landscape including ornamental plantings, minor pruning and shearing of trees and shrubs. Assist in the maintenance of turf, athletic fields, sidewalks, roadways and parking lots. Assist with irrigation systems maintenance. Access information utilizing appropriate computer software programs. Promote safety within the shop and field. May operate a University vehicle. Position reports to a Grounds Supervisor.Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) High school diploma and one year of related experience required. Experience using computers and mobile technology required. Valid driver’s license and driver’s check may be required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE ) while performing specific job tasks.
