OverviewThe Corporate Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and protection of company assets within a multiple corporate or buying office environment. This position will effectively lead, manage, and support the security and life safety program for the Corporate and Buying Offices, including physical security, fire, and life safety, alarm response, access control, visitor’s control, CCTV, etc. In this role you will be responsible for the supervision of associates, (internal and 3rd party security personnel.) They also direct the Fire/Life Safety systems, equipment, and processes, including the protection of life and property through the implementation of all fire safety plans, including managing the Fire Command Station for multiple corporate/buying office buildings. You will be expected to lead, drive, and promote effective crisis and incident management. You may also participate in ongoing company initiatives and independently communicate with associates at all levels of the organization. The supervisor will represent the Manager of Corporate Security as directed or in the absence of.

A Day in the Life:

Lead and own all responsibilities related to Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plans.

Responsible for supporting multiple corporate and buying office locations.

Lead efforts on the development and delivery of emergency response programs

Develop tailored training and awareness materials as directed.

Identify and maintain exceptional 3rd party vendors.

Ensure that life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional.

Support Fire/Life Safety efforts on behalf of the organization as directed by leadership.

Provide/coordinate all emergency response training for multiple offices.

Responsible to ensure security personnel are trained and certified to effectively respond to emergencies.

Must be able to provide clear direction, information, and assistance to all associates, guests, and visitors.

Ensure that life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional.

Respond to and manage Fire Command Station during alarm events.

As directed by the Manager/Sr. Manager/Director, ensure that all floors have a fully staffed fire safety team.

Participate and conduct fire and/or evacuation drills as directed.

Ensure that all floors have fire safety teams, including Fire Wardens, Deputy Fire Wardens, and Building Evacuation Team members.

Supervise security personnel to provide effective security for corporate facilities including physical security, safety, alarm response, access control, visitor control and CCTV

Responsible for the selection, training, supervision, and management of the Corporate Office Security associates

Works with Buying Office Leadership in all offices to ensure consistent physical security standards.

Recruit Top Talent for Guard teams and Corporate Security staff.

Foster effective Internal and External Communication through regular statuses with team and partners.

Work closely with Facilities and support Leadership on weather-related issues (warnings, closures, etc.).

You’ll Come With:

3 –5 years of corporate security/life safety experience, at least 2 years at supervisory level- this includes supervising and monitoring multi-site campus security operations.

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) or completion of threat assessment training employing a threat assessment methodology and/or SPJ validated for use in higher education environments strongly preferred.

Experience implementing policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Action Plans, and post orders in addition to planning and conducting emergency response drills and training sessions.

A creative & solutions driven mindset and the ability Ability to balance multiple priorities and accommodate deadlines.

Proficiency in MS suite programs/Power Point/Excel/E-mail and internet.
