Administrative Assistant to Finance | Burlington, NC | Onsite| $36-$36.50/hr. | 6 Month ContractThe Administrative Assistant to the Finance Team provides comprehensive administrative support to the finance department. This role involves managing schedules, organizing documents, coordinating meetings, and assisting with financial reporting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: Administrative Support:

Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for finance team members.

Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence related to finance department inquiries.

Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents, contracts, and reports.

Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting for finance team members.

Document Preparation:

Prepare financial documents, presentations, and reports as requested by finance team members.

Proo and edited financial documents for accuracy and completeness.

Format and finalize documents in accordance with company guidelines.

Meeting Coordination:

Arrange and coordinate meetings, including room reservations, catering, and technology setup.

Prepare meeting agendas and distribute materials in advance.

Take minutes during meetings and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.

Data Entry and Record-Keeping:

Enter financial data into spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, invoices, and payments.

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Communication Liaison:

Serve as a point of contact between the finance department and other departments within the organization.

Communicate effectively with external vendors, clients, and stakeholders on behalf of the finance team.

Ad Hoc Tasks:

Assist with special projects, research assignments, and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by finance team members.

Provide backup support to other administrative staff members as needed.

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
