Description Do you want to be an indispensable part of a flourishing team? Robert Half currently has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position available that is short-term contract / temporary. A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Located in Burlington, Massachusetts, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Major responsibilities
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Perform full-cycle A/P
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Help with internal and external audits as required Requirements - Great attention to detail
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Quickbooks Online experience
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
