Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team in West Valley City, Utah. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in handling accounting functions, including the management of accounts payable and account coding. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable (AP) Handle account coding tasks with precision and efficiency Utilize Oracle and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of expense reports Utilize Concur for expense accruals and expense reconciliation Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations Maintain and update accrued expenses records Ensure all accounting functions are performed in accordance with established procedures and regulations Process expense reports and manage related processes Monitor and manage any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Payable Specialist Proficiency in Account Coding and familiarity with its application in accounting processes Experience with Concur and ability to leverage its features effectively Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and ability to apply knowledge in real-world scenarios Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and a strong grasp of its principles Proficiency in Accrual Accounting and familiarity with its application in financial management Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and understanding of its operation Proficiency in Oracle and ability to navigate its features effectively Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create financial models and reports Experience in managing Accrued Expenses and ability to monitor and report on them effectively Hands-on experience with Expense Accruals and ability to manage them efficiently Proficiency in Expense Reconciliation and ability to ensure accuracy of financial data Experience in processing Expense Reports and ability to do so accurately and efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
