Position Summary:This position performs nurse assistant and telemetry monitoring under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Duties:
Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
Nurse assistant duties and responsibilities, under the direction of registered nurse.
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Certified Nurse Assistant preferred
Current BLS certification with 6 months
