Overview:As aFilter PressMaintenance Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of conveyor belts used in the transportation of materials. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and addressing any issues related to the conveyor belt systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. Shift runs 5 days on 4 days off, including weekends and holidays. You will work 12-hr shifts 7-7 and the schedule will rotate days/nights every other month. Pay is $20/hr and starts ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

HBF and Filter PressInspection:

Conduct regular inspections offilter press to identify signs of wear, damage, or misalignment.

Utilize various tools and equipment to assess conditions, including visual inspections and technical measurements.

Preventive Maintenance:

Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.

Replace worn or damaged components in a timely manner to prevent breakdowns.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with press systems.

Execute timely and effective repairs to address mechanical failures, electrical problems, or other issues impacting thepress.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines

Participate in safety training programs and contribute to creating a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.

Provide regular reports to supervisors on the condition of the press

Collaboration:

Work closely with other maintenance personnel, operators, and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.

Communicate effectively with team members to share insights and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus.

Experience:

Previous experience infilter press maintenance or a similar mechanical maintenance role is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.

Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.

Communication:

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and follow instructions.
